Property Description
 
The Hansville Nursery property was originally a part of the Homestead Plat of 1970.  All of the plat was then vacated in 1980 except for six 2 ½ acre lots.  Sometime shortly after that 53 acres of the property was converted into Open Space Agricultural while the remaining 91 acres stayed in Forestry.  In 1981 three buildings were built on the property to facilitate the nursery operations.  The 91 acres of timber was thinned by 70% this year.  The property is made up of four tax parcels.  One parcel is actually (6) - 2 1/2 historical lots left over from the Homestead Plat.  The remaining parcels could be split into 20 acre parcels with just a survey.
